Let's do VAKRASANA( Twist Pose)
Introduction:
Vakrasana, also known as the Seated Spinal Twist Pose, is a rejuvenating yoga asana that focuses on spinal rotation and flexibility. In Sanskrit, "Vakra" means "twisted" or "curved," and "Asana" means "pose." This seated twist is a powerful practice for unlocking tension in the spine, enhancing mobility, and promoting overall well-being.
Technique:
1) Sit on the ground with the legs stretched out.
2) Place the left leg near the right knee, stretching out the left hand behind the back, with the palm of the hand flat, resting on the ground.
3) Then press the left knee with the right arm and put the palm on the ground. Keep the waste erect and look as far backward as possible.
4) Practice this asana 4 to 6 times a day turning to the left side and to the right side alternately. Gradually, increase the time. The limit is 5 minutes.
Advantages:
1) This asana strengthens the spine and activate the nerves.
2) The mouth of the Sushumna open and kundalini Shakti is sublimated.
3) This asana invigorates the muscle of the loins.
4) This is helpful in caring indigestion and constipation.
